Veggie Burger Sauce

This 5-minute veggie burger sauce is without a doubt the easiest and best burger sauce you'll try. It's amazing with black bean burgers.

Ingredients
 

  • ½ cup vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice sub white wine vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika powder
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup optional

Instructions
 

  • Add the vegan mayonnaise, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and maple syrup (if using) to a small bowl.
  • Stir to combine. Optionally, transfer to a glass jar for serving.

Notes

  1. I use the pickle juice from my homemade quick pickled cucumbers.
  2. Make it your own: You can add a touch of hot sauce or chili powder for heat, a tiny bit of BBQ sauce for smokiness, or a splash of tomato ketchup or tomato paste to make it taste like a vegan big mac sauce.
  3. Storage: Transfer the sauce to a clean glass jar or any other airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
