Pine nuts

Fresh basil

Step 1

Blend the pine nuts and cashews in a small blender or  food processor.

Step 2

Add in the garlic, olive oil, a squeeze of lemon juice and a pinch of salt.

Step 3

Blend or pulse several times until combined.

Step 4

Serve the pesto with linguine.

Step 5

Mix until the pasta is well covered. Add a splash of water if necessary.
