Wash and peel
the vegetables. Cut them into large pieces.

in your blender/food chopper as well (or by hand).

to the pan. Sauté them for 5 minutes with a lid on.

pureed tomatoes
. Cover with a lid and simmer for 10 minutes.

according to package directions.
