What to expect

Light and airy mousse Easy to make Egg-free and dairy-free

Step 1

Melt the dark chocolate and let it cool while you prepare the rest.

Step 2

Drain a jar of chickpeas and collect the juice, also know as aquafaba.

Step 3

Weigh the aquafaba and add it to a large mixing bowl (or the bowl of a stand mixer).

Step 4

Whip it with an electric hand mixer or a stand mixer until it looks like whipped egg whites.

Step 5

Gently add the aquafaba foam to the melted chocolate with a spoon or spatula.

Step 6

Fill the mousse into ramekins and place them in the fridge to set for at least 4 hours or overnight.

This chocolate mousse makes the perfect vegan dessert for Christmas!
