What to expect

Canned mushrooms

Rolled oats

Smoked paprika

Ingredients

Spices

Tamari or soy sauce

Raw almonds

Canned black beans

Step 1

Drain the mushrooms and the black beans.

Step 2

Add the almonds and oats to a food processor. Blitz or pulse until roughly crushed

Step 3

Add in the drained beans, mushrooms, tamari, and spices. Blitz until roughly combined.

Step 4

Roll the mixture into balls, and press into burger-shaped disks.

In a pan

Cook for 2 min per side over medium-high heat. Then flip and cook them for another 3-5 min over medium heat.

Grilling

Place the burgers on the grill. Close the lid  and cook them for 5-7 minutes per side.
