Curious about how the Hurom H310A slow juicer operates? Since this is a vertical cold-press juicer, it's slightly different in use from centrifugal juicers and slow juicers with a feeding tube. Below you'll find detailed step-by-step instructions on how to use it and how to clean it.

How to use the Hurom H310A slow juicer
Prepare your fruits and veggies
Peel the fruits and veggies that need to be peeled. Then, cut everything into pieces that fit the hopper. The juicer comes with an instruction manual that explains how to handle different fruits and veggies in detail.
Fill the hopper
Add your prepped fruits and veggies to the hopper of the juicer and close the lid.
Turn on the juicer
Use the power dial to turn on the juicer. The juice will start coming out on one side and the juice pulp on the other side. If you're juicing larger quantities of produce, you might need to refill the hopper with the remaining ingredients at some point.
Collect the juice pulp
You can either save it for recipes or discard it. If you wanna save it for later, you can store it in zip bags and freeze them.

How to clean the Hurom H310A
Unscrew all the parts
Remove the assembled hopper and chamber from the motor base. Unlock the hopper from the chamber. Remove the screw from the chamber and take the 2 parts of the screw apart.
Rinse & Clean
Start by rinsing the 4 parts under cold water to remove all the juice pulp. Then, give it a quick scrub with a sponge and soapy water. The Hurom juicer comes with a special cleaning brush for the small parts (but I rarely need it). Alternatively, you can put the parts in the dishwasher.
Air-dry
Let it air dry next to your sink. Once it's dry you can store it away.
Elo's tips
- Rinse the juicer right away. This prevents the juice pulp from sticking to the parts of the juicer and makes cleaning super easy.
- Do a deep clean every few weeks. Give the juicer a nice scrub with a little brush and make sure to go into all the nooks and crannies.
- Place the hopper in the sun if it has any discoloration from turmeric or beetroot. The sunlight should make it go away within a day.
